What a sensible opening order looks like
A practical starting order for wholesale buyers is 50 units across two or three SKUs, not 50 units of one. That spreads the risk, gives your staff something to compare, and still hits the first price break.
The first question we ask is not what you want to spend. It is what your customer already buys. Answer that and the nic salt list writes itself; skip it and you end up with a pallet of stock that photographs well and sells badly.

What documents come with a shipment?
